CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability)

This certificate gives you the skills to provide person-centred support to people who require assistance due to ageing and/or disability. Supporting all age groups and abilities in living and leisure activities, carers provide opportunities for people to live their lives to the fullest. Successful completion of this course will qualify you to work in aged care and/or home and community care. It will also give you the foundation to undertake further studies in the community services and health sectors.

Intake Dates: Monthly intakes

Duration: 6 months

  • A student must be able to supply a Federal Police Check (cost applies) on enrolment – refer to for fees.
  • Regular access to a computer or tablet to undertake learning and assessment activities
  • Regular access to the internet and to an email account
  • The ability to communicate directly with SRI
  • The ability to communicate in English with SRI
  • The ability to understand instructions provided, written or verbally in English
  • The ability to use a computer and type
  • The willingness to provide a valid USI


  • Online/ Virtual Classrooms
    • using iLearn, our 24/7 learner management system. Using iLearn, students can engage with learning at their own speed, in their own time from the comfort of their home.
    • In order to complete the academic requirements of this program, students are required to have a suitable laptop and appropriate connectivity to access our Learning Management System. Please click here to view recommended laptop specifications.
  • 120 hrs of Vocational Placement is also a requirement of the qualification. Students are required to source their own work placements
