The Career Transition Program (CTA) is a government initiative to support over 50’s into employment. Since 1979 Sarina Russo has focused on creating real employment opportunities through training and empowering people. Our program is tailored to your needs and background, equipping you with new skills and confidence.

Tailored Career Assistance Element

Duration 6 weeks – Up to 3 days a week

Let’s Connect step by step program was developed to guide you through a holistic journey tailored to you individually.  Our experienced coaches will help you to create your own employment plan after your My Potential assessment identifies your skills, abilities and areas of interest. This tailored plan in conjunction with a variety of workshops, activities and excursions are designed to equip you with confidence, personal development and wellbeing , create networks, and gain insider knowledge into your local businesses.

Step 1 - Induction and Assessment

We will establish your current skills and expertise using our online assessment tool “My Potential” which will identify your interests, skills and values to provide an individualised report recommending options and industries and pointing you in the right direction.

Step 2 - Career Road Map

A one-on-one coaching session to identify your goals and any gaps or barriers to employment. A tailored program will be developed for you along with a detailed overview of what you can expect from us through the “lets connect” program. We will show you as we partner together how we will bridge the gap and support you into employment.

Step 3 – My Brand

Create your own brand through resumes, cover letters and linkedin profiles and gain expertise with interview skills to build your confidence.

Step 4 – Employer Toolbox

Be a part of small group activities to demonstrate a strategic way to job search and move into work. Be introduced to networking and effective self-marketing. Learn how to target and engage with employers through a series of industry visits, workshops or work experience opportunities.

Step 5 – My Career Coach

We will be with you every step of the way, to encourage, support, guide and encourage you, reviewing your Career Pathway Plan to keep you on track to attaining your goals.

Functional Digital Literacy Element

Duration 2 weeks – Up to 3 days a week

Our “office in a suitcase” complete toolkit with facilitated workshops will equip you the confidence and experience you need to get familiar with today’s technology, current office software and social media tools.
