Certificate 3 Guarantee Program

Training funded by the Queensland Government

The Certificate 3 Guarantee Program is a program funded by the Queensland Government that offers a Government subsidy to support eligible Queenslanders to complete their first post school Certificate III level qualification.

The main objective of the Certificate 3 Guarantee Program is the delivery and completion of Certificate III level qualifications, which lead to job outcomes and career progression.

Sarina Russo Institute is approved to deliver the training below under the Certificate 3 Guarantee Program

A student co-contribution fee applies to all students partaking in the Certificate 3 Guarantee Program, except for students who qualify for the 2020 Year 12 graduates Fee Free training. The fee is charged and collected in full prior to enrolment.

*This training can be provided fee-free to Queensland Year 12 graduates who enrol and commence training within 12 months of completing Year 12

Concessional Student Co-Contribution Fee:

  • $50
    • Core units: 2x $3.88, 5X $3.84
    • Elective units: 6x $3.84

Non-Concessional Student Co-Contribution Fee:

  • $160
    • Core units: 2x $12.35, 5X $12.30
    • Elective units: 6x $12.30

To be eligible for the Certificate 3 Guarantee Program, a participant must:

  • be aged 15 years or older
  • be no longer at school (with the exception of school students in Years 10, 11 and 12 undertaking a VET in School (VETis program);
  • permanently reside in Queensland
  • be an Australian Citizen, Australian permanent resident (includes humanitarian entrant), temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency, or a New Zealand citizen; and
  • not hold, and not be enrolled in a certificate III or higher-level qualification, not including qualifications completed at school and foundation skills training.
